Making flexible and reusable motion graphics is challenging. You need to be able to adjust and position elements from the edit page, animations should stretch to the final length of the timeline segment and your effects should work for every resolution and aspect ratio.
In this tutorial you learn to make a simple curved call out title that fulfills all of these requirements.
For text animations you should focus first on using shading layers in the text+ tool as much as possible. Those layers render efficiently together with the text and automatically scale with the size. With some simple tricks, you can also reuse shading layers as masks for other effects.
Then, you can use additional controls and expressions to make additional graphic elements more flexible. Use the macro editor to control the ones which are essential in the edit page and publish your template together with a custom preview icon.
