In this tutorial, we look at different ways to customize and save Fusion templates that you use from the edit page.
You can share Fusion effects that do not include additional media via power bins across projects within the same database. In the case of audio tracks, you might render out a stereo audio clip and save it alongside the Fusion template in the same bin.
If you need more flexibility with effects that include audio, video, or multiple timeline elements together, create a compound clip. Compound clips cannot be shared through Power Bins. A useful workaround is to save all your effects in a separate bin that you export to disk. Resolve bins from disk can simply be imported into new projects via a double-click from the file browser.
Finally, if your Fusion effect only relies on images or image sequences, you can make those part of the Fusion effect via a Fusion loader node. Fusion loader nodes contain absolute file paths, however the “Settings” path variable exists to turn an absolute path into a path relative to the Fusion settings file. This way you can store media in the same location as the Fusion template and make that template available via the Effects library.

Great video I have never used power bins before.

Oh, then you might find them quite useful from time to time.
